Since childhood, I loved taking pictures and was always interested in fashion and even worked a little as a model. Later I studied to be a photographer, and a little later I took a chance and opened my own photo studio and a modeling agency at the studio.
I am fond of creating interesting projects and implementing them in photography, communicating with photographers and creative people.
What has been your most memorable moment in your career so far?
The most important point is the fashion show Iэму done for the agency in April 2021 and publications in ANON and Elegant magazines.
Tell us a bit more about your project "After Midnight Skin". Is there any particular message you would like to get across to the viewers?
This project was made for the graduation of my modeling school. The models had to show their daring nature and ability to convey passion, audacity, and bright character to the viewer.
How do you connect with your other creatives? Do they tend to be people you know, or strangers?
This is my team, with whom I have been working for a long time and I am happy that they understand me.
In your opinion what does it take to capture great portraits?
Idea, team and skill of the photographer.
Alexandra, tell us a secret, what is the key to getting the best out of someone for portrait and beauty shots?
I think a lot depends on the comfort and the mood on shooting area. Yes, all are professionals and know how to work under any circumstances, but when everything is well planned and prepared on the set and everyone understands their task and deadlines, people smile and feel safe, which means that creative inspiration helps to create beauty.
What type of projects are dearest to your heart? Why?
I'm a fan of fashion shots. Cyclorama is my love.
But, at the same time, I like to create intricate projects: according to the location, the props and the idea, maybe even something imaginative.
What services do you provide and what does your "team" consist of?
I am the owner of a Modeling Agency and a Model School. I have models of different types, builds, age and character, and I like to train them. In my team: photographers, makeup artists, stylist, psychologist, nutritionist, actress, managers and assistants.
From your point of view what makes a shoot successful?
When the team understands the idea and has sufficient professional knowledge to implement it.
What are your goals/plans for the future? Is there somebody you are fascinated about and you'd like to work with in the future?
I want a cover in some magazine and also grow professionals out of my models who will be in demand on the market.
As for photographers, I really like Steven Meisel, Daniil Golovkin and Maxim Baev.
Recently I was fortunate enough to work with video production and I was very fascinated by this and I want to continue to participate in similar projects.
I admire BARON & BARON.
From the brands I really like Fendi and Dior. Favorite model: Cara Delevine and Natalia Vodianova.
