Crimson & Noir
Crimson & Noir is a beauty editorial photographed by Ágnes Tapodi, who also created the makeup, published in the printed edition MALVIE Beauty Across Cultures 122. In the photographer's words: "A striking interplay of dark elegance and vibrant allure: classic noir aesthetics meet bold, modern confidence, where every detail, from the dramatic contrast of deep black and crimson to the expressive poses, tells a story of timeless glamour and fierce individuality."
From the printed edition: MALVIE Beauty Across Cultures 122
Crimson & Noir is one of the editorials in MALVIE Beauty Across Cultures 122, the new printed edition of MALVIE Magazine, alongside High Bred, Pink Diva, Timeless Bridal Elegance and Lilu.
The printed edition will be available to order from our print partners MagCloud, Peecho and DPBee.
About Crimson & Noir
Crimson & Noir is built on two colours. Against a plain grey backdrop, the blonde model wears a black lace corset trimmed with satin ribbon, and the makeup answers it in crimson: glossy, full red lips, rosy blush, sharp black winged liner and long lashes over shimmering lids.
Ágnes Tapodi changes the hair and the attitude from frame to frame: a high ponytail swinging to one side, a top knot tied with a satin scrunchie, long loose hair under a black leather cap. Hands framing the face, head tipped back, eyes closed or looking up, the poses stay close and expressive so that the makeup remains the subject.
