My name is Justin Haynes- Designer/Tailor of My brand… JUS10H
I am living childhood dream. I went from working retail, to saying no to a big relocation and salary - to starting a clothing line… no customers.. to now
Customers all round the world internationally.
God is good!!!!
How is working in fashion different today than from when you started out?
It’s soo different. So much diversity. There is room to create and be yourself with out being judged l.
What do you want to achieve through fashion?
I want to continue to build confidence in people and bring fashion to everyday lives
Are there particular issues within the fashion industry that concern you? If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Lack of knowledge. I feel a lot of fashion creatives are just getting by off of someone else’s experience and knowledge. No one wants to do the work and learn the history.
One thing I would change- make knowledge of your craft a priority before advancing
You must know your craft and study your skill
No more just getting by
In your daily routine, what resources do you like to learn new things about art, fashion?
Life…. Daily I learn new things new inspirations by life occurrences.
What's the most important thing you want your potential clients to know about you?
I am a creative. I am a confidence builder. I take pride in my clients standing out from the rest.
If you could say one thing to someone younger who looks up to you, what would you say?
Stay consistent! Start and don’t stop
It may get SUPER rough… but don’t quit!
Let the world know you are in it for the long haul
What's been the biggest highlight in your career so far?
Wow.. I’ve had soo many…. I have been bless with several highlights - my biggest highlight to date would be my billboard release today (July 26) in Times Square NY…. my comic collection made one of the largest billboards in time Square thanks to Kim Clark and SU Magazine
What does life look like for you now and where do you see yourself in the future?
Everyday I wake up is a blessing.. so life is looking great. Future….Well know fashion brand around the world. I want to make an authentic difference in the fashion community.
