This editorial is about Andrea's great dream, a girl who was born and raised in her horseback riding school: the Equestrian Dream.
It tells about a poetic and spontaneous story of her interacting with the horses and the surrounding nature, with how nature reacts to the goodness of soul; how horse riding is not just saddling a horse, training it and exhibiting it, but making that horse your shadow and your soul mate, and always being at its side; treating it and taking care of it just as well as she has to take care of the place where Andrea spends her life, becoming one with a way of being we would describe as living in lightness and freedom: the Equestian Dream.
Equestrian Dream is the other side of horse riding: no longer just a sport but a real life choice. And we told it our own way, with a touch of fashion as well as with a glamorous touch, trying to evoke the great designers who have made horse riding an identifying feature of their collections.
Everything you will see has been created with accessories that are so common to the world of horse riding (saddles, caps, whips, boots, mouthpieces...).
We hope this editorial will be just as exciting for you to watch as it was for us to conceptualise, create and breathe life into it.

I have loved fashion ever since being a youngster, studying creativity and art at school and learning to pay attention to how colours and shapes influence the overall look and feel of things. Then when I got my first opportunity to photograph for a make up academy in Australia I fell in love with how a model can bring to life the fashion and clothing that is being worn. It sparked an interest to this world of freedom of creativity.
What do you love the most about your profession?
One thing I love the most is being able to interact with people. I am really concerned with how people tick and what they’re made of. It has always fascinated me. Then there is the experimenting with light that can excite people. That “wow-moment” is a moment of real satisfaction.
How would you describe your work to someone who has never seen it? Is there any message you would like your photos to convey?
I aim to convey what I see with my eyes in an image, as difficult as that sounds. The particularity is, that I see warmth and details. I am deeply attracted to warm tones as well as to details that one can easily overlook. That’s why you will see me walking very close to the subject to then step back again, over and over.
How hard has it been establishing yourself in the industry and what are some of the largest things you've faced?
The hardest thing is probably being faced right now, which is establishing myself in a “new” country. After many years in Australia, being back in Italy is like starting all over again. Now I’m working to create the same excitement through images. That is a step by step process that requires patience and endurance. That sometimes is the hardest virtue to keep.
If you could go back and tell yourself one thing before beginning your career what would it be?
Keep up the pace and keep going, it’s the right direction.
What is your main source of inspiration?
Love. Love for life. Love for my surroundings like nature and what springs from thoughts that can run free. Love is freedom.
Also, sometimes movies and music are great sources of inspiration.
Are there particular issues within the fashion industry that concern you?
The objectification of humans.
What kind of impact do you hope to make in the fashion world?
Convey positive energy and love for life.
In your daily routine, what resources do you like to learn new things about art, fashion?
“if I have seen a little further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants”
Learn from the greats by listening carefully and watching attentively. Then practice, practice. Get feedback from a trusted person and start creating more.
What projects are you working on next, and what are your goals for the future?
Lots. Currently working on a brand new website and keen on implementing and creating more videos for fashion. Also keen on editorial work.
