How did your journey into modeling begin, and what inspired you to pursue it professionally?

I actually started modeling when I was about 12 years old, mostly photographic work, and it’s something that’s always felt natural to me. I’ve always loved the creative side of it: dressing up, transforming for a theme or concept, and just feeling confident and beautiful in front of the camera. Over the past two years, I decided to take it more seriously and pursue it professionally. Modeling gives me an outlet to express myself, and that sense of confidence is something I think every woman should experience.

You’ve worked internationally — how has modeling in different countries influenced your perspective on beauty and style?

I haven’t worked overseas, but I’ve been published internationally in some of the world’s biggest magazines, one being Playboy, which is how I class myself as an international model. I’ve also worked with international photographers, which has been such an exciting and inspiring part of my journey. Seeing my work shared and appreciated around the world has motivated me to keep pushing forward and evolving creatively.

What’s one photoshoot or campaign that had a lasting impact on you, and why?

The photoshoots that hit me the hardest, in the best way, are the ones where I learn new things, share creative ideas with the photographer, and come up with epic concepts together. We absorb each other’s energy and knowledge and create something truly special. Creating an image isn’t as simple as just looking pretty, there’s so much involved both physically and mentally. It takes planning, styling, money, location scouting, time, and preparation.

The shoots I appreciate the most are often the hardest ones, the ones that challenge me but lead to the most rewarding outcomes. Seeing those images published in beautiful magazines or achieving new goals through brand collaborations makes all the effort completely worth it.

How do you prepare—mentally and physically—for a major shoot or runway show?

For me, preparation is all about feeling balanced and confident. I go to the gym every day, which helps me not only physically but also mentally, it keeps me focused and centred. Before a big shoot, I make sure to rest, stay hydrated, and get into the right mindset. I like to think about the energy I want to bring to the set, so that when I step in front of the camera, I feel strong, calm, and ready to create.

Your Instagram presence has a distinct aesthetic. How do you approach curating your online image while keeping it authentic?

Instagram is a huge part of modeling now, and I treat it as both my portfolio and creative outlet. I love creating beautiful, cohesive content that reflects my personal style. But it’s not always easy, especially with how strict community guidelines have become. I’ve had posts reported unfairly by outsiders or competitors, and I’ve had to appeal and communicate with Instagram quite a bit to keep my account active and protected. It’s been stressful at times, especially as a mother juggling everything, but I’ve learned so much about how the platform works. I put a lot of time, effort, and creativity into my photos, and it’s worth fighting for because my page represents years of hard work and passion.

What role does creativity play in your modeling — do you see yourself more as a muse, a collaborator, or both?

Definitely both. I love being a muse and helping bring someone else’s vision to life, but I also enjoy being part of the creative process, contributing ideas, concepts, or styling suggestions. That’s what makes it so fun for me. Modeling is an art form, and I think the best results come when everyone collaborates openly and respects each other’s creativity.

The fashion industry can be intense. How do you take care of your mental and emotional well-being amidst such demands?

It can definitely be intense at times, especially balancing motherhood, modelling, and everyday life. My children, my family, and my partner are my number one priority, they keep me grounded. Spending time with them gives me balance and perspective. The gym is another big part of my routine; it’s my time to clear my mind, reset, and stay strong mentally and physically. I’ve learned to protect my peace and only invest my energy where it’s truly valued.

Who are some of the photographers, designers, or artists you’ve loved collaborating with, and what makes those partnerships special?

I’ve worked with so many talented creatives that it wouldn’t be fair or professional to single anyone out, but I definitely have a handful of favourites I always enjoy working with. What makes those collaborations special is mutual respect and creative chemistry, when everyone shares a vision and trusts the process, the energy on set is just magic.

In an era where social media shapes trends, how do you balance staying relevant with staying true to your personal style?

I think staying true to yourself is what keeps you relevant. Trends come and go, but authenticity lasts. I enjoy exploring what’s current, but I always stay within my own aesthetic and values. I never want to lose sight of what feels true to me, confidence, elegance, and empowerment.

What’s a misconception people often have about modeling that you wish you could change?

That it’s easy or superficial. Modeling takes a lot of time, energy, discipline, and emotional awareness. There’s so much work behind every image, from preparation to posing to working through setbacks like social media issues or long hours. It’s not just about looks; it’s about professionalism, resilience, and confidence.

Outside of modeling, what passions or projects are you most excited about right now?

My biggest passion will always be my children and my family, they’re my everything. My partner and I have a strong relationship, and family life is my foundation. Outside of that, I’m also a disability support worker, which I find really rewarding. It’s a job that keeps me grounded, humble, and reminds me daily of the importance of compassion and purpose.

Finally, what advice would you give to aspiring models who dream of building an international career like yours?

Start by believing in yourself and your unique look. Confidence is everything. Be patient, professional, and stay consistent, success doesn’t happen overnight. Learn to handle rejection gracefully, stay humble, and remember that your individuality is your greatest strength. Never compromise your authenticity for validation, and always protect the work you’ve built, both online and in real life.
