Can you tell us about how you started your modeling career?

I started my modeling career in the Caribbean when I was asked to participate to a runway show organised by Miss Guadeloupe’s official hairdresser.

What inspired you to pursue modeling as a profession?

I have this inner strength, determination, some luck, and good agencies.

What have been some of the most memorable projects or collaborations in your modeling journey?

There are a lot…As a model I loved to work on Lisa Noto makeup advertisement. I also really loved to be featured on music videos such as Naamta Janalo Na with Master D and Haji Springer. As an actress, I have incredible memories of working on movies such as “Brad’s Status” with Ben Stiller, TV series like “Demain Des Hommes”, or short films that I produced: “Momentum” and “Naya, Nativity Of Nature”. As a movie producer I am so happy and honored because “Momentum” won a Remi Award, was finalist at the Independent Short Awards from Los Angeles, selected by the Montréal International Indie Short Film Festival, by the Lift-Off Global Network, and semi-finalist at the IndieX Film Fest from Los Angeles.

“Naya, Nativity of Nature” was in the Official selection of the New York Cinematography Award, finalist at Independant Short Awards from Los Angeles and quarter finalist at Madras Independent Film Festival.

What does a typical day look like for you as a model?

I wake up at 6 in the morning and I drink two glasses of water with lemon juice. I eat lightly, maybe an egg and I drink a cup of green tea. Then I exercise for 1 hour. I daily check my emails to see if I received anything important. I check my social medias and I post every two or three days to stay in touch with my lovely community.

What challenges have you faced in the modeling industry, and how have you overcome them?

I think my biggest challenge was to build my personal team. But with some in depth researches I found some good photographers and makeup artists to work with for various projects.

Are there any models or public figures who have inspired you?

As for modeling, I would say Cara Delevingne and Naomie Campbell inspire me the most. As for acting, I think Gal Gadot, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Lawrence and Noemie Lenoir.

What steps do you take to maintain your physical health as part of your profession?

I exercise quite often, especially before photoshoots, events or runways. I also do meditation and yoga. I talk to my entourage and I share moments with them; I think overall, it helps to stay in shape.

What are your aspirations for the future of your modeling career?

For the future, I will travel to France and Europe to get modeling opportunities there, such as the Paris Fashion Week. I also want to see my mother's side family: the Brissac family from France who owns the Brissac’s castle. I love castles, I find them very exciting and the castle of Brissac is absolutely magnificent !

How important do you think diversity and inclusivity are in the modeling industry today?

I think diversity is important because people want to identify themselves as models or public figures from advertisements, shows etc. and it’s interesting when they can. If you look at Disney for example, they have a princess from every culture and I think it’s amazing !

What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career in modeling?

I would advise you to start training, to know how to pause. Then create a variety of beautiful pictures to submit to a good agency.

Can you talk about the history behind the pictures that you present today ?

I like castles and the princess's clothing style.

Being linked to the Brissac family inspired me to take these photos. I had the chance and the honor to work with Roza Sampolinska (photographer) and Missy White (makeup artist), on this project. They are wonderful, and together, we were able to create this look that I dreamed of.
