Autistic Supermodel Bazhan Iuliia a new face of fashion’s future
Bazhan Iuliia is an international fashion model known for her striking editorials, runway presence and unique personal story. She has worked with designers and photographers across Europe and Asia. Her creative energy, emotional depth, and bold identity as an autistic model make her a standout figure in today’s fashion industry. In this interview for Malvie, she shares her vision, values, and path to becoming a global fashion name.
You are a new fashion wave – where modeling is about spirit.
How do you see the role of personality in today’s fashion communication?
In all photos, my body speaks for me – but what makes my presence unforgettable is the inner state of love. A new-generation fashion model is a personality. I don’t just pose – I project mood, energy, and intention.
Famous and autistic is a challenge to the old ideas of who a model is “supposed” to be.
I’m different – and that’s my power.
You’ve walked major runways – from Paris to Dubai.
Which show was a turning point for you, and why?
Paris Fashion Week. That was the first time I stepped onto a runway not just as a model, but as a statement. I realized: my image, my posture, my silence – it’s a language.
A girl who once experienced sensory overload from light and sound became the face of light in front of loud music.
I wasn’t just walking a runway. I was walking through stereotypes.

You work with photographers and designers who cater to elite, high-fashion clients.
What makes a shoot or a runway truly meaningful for you?
The most meaningful moments are when I’m allowed to be myself.
I love when photographers can hear silence. When it’s not just about the pose – but about the atmosphere.
When I can be both soft and untouchable – that’s when true fashion energy is created.
You’re a titled Supermodel and a fashion symbol for both European and Asian designers.
What qualities and decisions helped you build a career others only dream of?
I was raised in an aristocratic family that valued discipline, education, and precision.
That foundation helped me stay grounded and authentic in an industry that easily swallows identity.
I didn’t become a happy accident. Bazhan Iuliia is a carefully built brand – a name now recognized in fashion circles worldwide.
Your look stands out in an era of filters and sameness.
How do you stay authentic in a world of visual repetition?

I believe the most beautiful thing is when you radiate from within. That kind of glow is real – and can’t be faked.
No makeup can create it, and no filter can cover it. It comes from health, confidence, joy, and love.
That’s beyond physical beauty. It’s an energy that people feel.
And if you have it – you’ll always be seen, even in silence.
Many young women dream of following your path as an international fashion model.
Where should they begin if they want real impact and lasting success in the fashion industry?
Don’t follow someone else’s path. Create your own.
I recently read the story of Lauren Sánchez – and it inspired me deeply.
She lives by her own script, never sacrificing herself to please others. She simply knows what she wants.
That’s the key. Not “what do they expect from me?” but “what do I truly want?”
When you start there, what you build will be yours – and it will bring joy, not just success.
At the end of our interview, I told her:
“I just want to commend you for taking something that’s probably been one of the hardest things you’ll ever have to go through – and turning it into something that brings you joy. Thank you.”
She smiled – calm, radiant. Like someone who no longer needs protection, because she fully owns herself.

“Thank you,” she said.
“You know, no one would guess today that I was born on the spectrum. Unless I say it – people don’t see it at all. Honestly, it brings me more advantages than problems. Actually… no problems at all.”
I paused for a moment and asked:
“And how do you feel now, knowing how far you’ve come?”
She looked straight into the camera and said:
“I feel really proud of myself. And I feel grateful every single day. Especially to my mom. Mama, if you’re reading this – it’s all because of you. Thank you.”
And in that moment, it became clear:
She’s not just the face of the new fashion wave.
She is the wave.
Warm. Free. Grateful.
Famous and fully, beautifully herself.
