Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.

Since I was a child, I have always been attracted to art, fashion, photography and reading. Everything that surrounds me was, and still is for me, a source of inspiration.

My course of study began in a professional tailoring school, which did not give me the results I hoped to obtain, however. For this reason, after a few years of working in a clothing boutique, I decided to continue my studies and specialize in fashion styling.

How is working in fashion different today than from when you started out?

In the historical moment we are experiencing we certainly have more difficulties and precariousness than in the past. Everything can change from moment to moment and this makes organizing and producing a photo shoot more complex.

Despite this, I think that in life there will always be obstacles to overcome and the only thing to do is to continue to believe in what you want and give it everything to make it possible.

What do you want to achieve through fashion?

Surely, my biggest ambition is to tell something through my projects.

I would like that those who look at them could experience a little journey in my world and feel represented or inspired by what they see. In my own little, I hope to leave a unique and recognizable mark.

Are there particular issues within the fashion industry that concern you? If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

One of the main problems of the fashion industry is the environmental and social impact that it produces. If I could change something, I would establish mandatory guidelines to follow, which respect more the environment and the workers.

In your daily routine, what resources do you like to learn new things about art, fashion?

As I said, I believe that everything that surrounds us, from art, to music or photography, contributes to making us learn something new. My favourite way to learn is to travel. Through this experience, you can discover new cultures, broaden your vision and understand different realities. In my opinion, this is the best way to enrich my culture and my knowledge and it is a constant source of inspiration.

What's the most important thing you want your potential clients to know about you?

That I am an ambitious and meticulous person. When I have to finish a task, I want to achieve a result that makes me proud, but also follows the directives. I have a sunny and optimistic personality, but I don’t give up easily in the face of difficulties, on the contrary, I always have a solution.

If you could say one thing to someone younger who looks up to you, what would you say?

Always believe in your dreams and work hard to achieve them!

What does life look like for you now and where do you see yourself in the future?

I am only at the beginning of my career, so I hope to have many different experiences in my future. I can't wait to get back to travel, to be able to collaborate with new artists and never stop learning.

My favourite thing about this job is that it allows you to reinvent yourself every day and push yourself beyond your limits, giving you the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.

My name is Ervisa, I was born in Albania and I moved to Italy when I was 8 years old. I always have been attracted to beauty since I was a child. In fact, when my mum was doing her makeup I was staring at her, trying to catch her tips and then I was stealing her products to recreate the same makeup on my friends.

The years passed by and when I was attending high school I dropped this passion because my parents pushed me to follow another path, in fact, they wanted me to attend the university. So I did and it was a great time, I had the chance to travel, meet new people, but when I started working for a company and sitting the whole day in front of my pc, that was the moment where I realized I was missing something, so I started to feel empty and to regret the path I chose.

Now because of the Covid, you have to be careful about what you use and how you use it, your palette has to be sanitized every time, your brushes need to be cleaned and you have to sanitize your hand each time you touch a different face or model. Even before, you were paying attention to the hygiene aspect, but right now, you have to be even more careful. Moreover, you have to work with the mask, the visor and sometimes it gets difficult to breathe.

What do you want to achieve through

fashion?

I love art and fashion and, in my opinion, art is the secret ingredient that can push all the makeup artist to express their self and understand the period that brought us here, the makeup history that has built our beauty routine across those days. In addition, I want to learn and discover each day new things, I want to look at an Aquarium and invent makeup, return back home, drawing it on paper and then reinvent it on a model’s face, that is my main purpose each day, discovering and creating.

What's the most important thing you want your potential clients to know about you?

I love colors that is my main expression of makeup. I want to let them know, that is fine to use them “the less is more, but more is okay”. In fact, you don’t have to be afraid to dare, you don’t have to be afraid of pushing yourself through your limits, facing them, and creating new things. It’s fine to be inspired, indeed my point of reference is Morgane Martini, she knows how to use colors and she has created tons of beauty makeup that are amazing.

If you could say one thing to someone younger who looks up to you, what would you say?

If you want to enter this industry you have to study, you need to know the history of art, you need to know the photographers, the models, the history of the brands. And the most important thing you need to recognize good products and how to apply them to the model's skin.

What's been the biggest highlight in your career so far?

My biggest highlight till now is recognizing my passion at 28 years old and started to follow and realize it, follow your dream, make it come true, make it become your job and you won’t work a day as they use to say.

What does life look like for you now and where do you see yourself in the future?

I feel that right now because of the pandemic restrictions, I feel a bit stuck in my space. I wish that this entire situation will finish soon, I want to know new people, such as makeup artists to share and learn from them, I want to travel and discover new realities and get in touch with brilliant minds.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.

I’m Consuelo, I’m 21 and at the moment I am attending the fashion and communication academy ‘Moodart Fashion School’ in Verona. I have always had this passion; in fact, my grandmother passed it to me when I was 6, through her sewing machine. At the age of 18, I moved to Mantua to ¬finish my fashion and design studies and after graduation, I chose to deepen this my passion. I have always been a determined and curious girl and thanks to this academy, I have known my style and myself.

How is working in fashion different today than from when you started out?

I come from a course of study in which it prevails history of costume and the making of garments.

I have always liked making and sewing clothes, but in the last period, I have understood the importance of fashion communication and the message we want to convey, while maintaining our identity.

What do you want to achieve through

fashion?

I am lucky because I have always had the opportunity to follow my greatest passion, but I have also made many sacrifi¬ces. Arrived up here I don't want to stop because I want to realize myself: my future starts from here.

Are there particular issues within the fashion industry that concern you? If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

One of the problems most discussed in the last period is fast fashion and, closely connected, are the theme of the environment and the price that the industry has on it: discarded textiles are not always easily disposable. Synthetic or inorganic materials damage the ecosystem and are di cult to degrade. Fortunately, today, sustainability is a value shared by many brands and industries.

In your daily routine, what resources do you like to learn new things about art, fashion?

During the quarantine, not having the possibility to move from home, I looked for inspiration on different platforms. I made money from everything that surrounded me in my home, drawing inspiration above all from various movies, TV series, and books. These habits still accompany me, because, in my opinion, we must learn to observe carefully what surrounds us.

What's the most important thing you want your potential clients to know about you?

A potential client of mine must know that Consuelo will never abandon her elegant, refi¬ned, but also a little spicy and dynamic style. Fashion is the best art form of expression.

If you could say one thing to someone younger who looks up to you, what would you say?

Passions are born for a reason. It’s necessary not to stop at appearances, but to make the most of any opportunity. It’s also important to be humble but to have self-con¬fidence in order to make every experience personal baggage. Fashion is a world to discover.

What does life look like for you now and where do you see yourself in the future?

At the moment I am quite busy with some projects to be carried out within the academy: I'm indulging in a different photoshoot on sets, from advertising to still life. Once I have completed my thesis in June, I am ready to get involved and launch into new adventures.
