About Wild Oath

Wild Oath is built around a single, unforgettable crown: a towering headpiece of jewelled red petals that frames the face like a flame. Zeeshan Tariq photographs it close and in low, warm light against dark tropical leaves, so the gold on the skin and the crystals on the crown catch every highlight.


Umar Aziz carries the whole look, from the makeup and hair to the styling and accessories: gilded eyelids, red lips, a fine painted mark between the brows, sculpted black collars with spiked edges, fur sleeves and long draped skirts. A pale iguana appears throughout the story, resting at the chin or held close, a quiet counterpoint to the crown.
