I wanted to represent Savannah in two completely different contexts: a home setting and a studio setting. The former aimed to highlight her femininity within the comfort of a home, while the latter, focusing more closely on detail, was meant to portray her womanhood decontextualized from any specific environment.

Daniele and I have been working together for three years. Over time, our relationship has evolved beyond the traditional photographer-model dynamic, and we have also become friends. Because of this, we naturally understand each other’s creative vision and can easily agree on the style and atmosphere we want to create. The mood board was very minimal, so I had to fill its static style with my personality and modeling skills. I was given a kind of “blank page,” without specific instructions or guidance from which to draw inspiration. Knowing your strongest expressions and how to create shapes with your body is essential because it gives you a starting point.
