Between Shadow and Silk is a fashion editorial photographed and creatively directed by Vicman Art with model Tania Buria, published in the printed edition MALVIE Body Positivity 138. In the photographer's words: "Between Shadow and Silk explores the dialogue between elegance, light and shadow through contemporary fashion photography. A visual editorial focused on the relationship between the model, the garments and the atmosphere, where each image seeks to convey emotion, sophistication and a distinct visual identity."

About Between Shadow and Silk

Between Shadow and Silk is shot outdoors under a dark steel pergola, where low sun cuts long stripes of shadow across a pale paved terrace. Tania Buria wears a white satin slip dress with a draped cowl neck, cinched by a wide black belt with metal eyelets, a fine pearl necklace and black lace-up heels, her dark hair pulled back.

Vicman Art uses the black beams as a frame: she reclines along a low wall, leans into a pillar with one arm raised, sits with a knee drawn up and walks toward the camera. The satin catches the warm light while the beams stay deep in shadow, and one frame in black and white underlines the play of contrasts.
