About Concrete

Concrete & Contrast keeps the wardrobe simple, a white tank top, wide-leg jeans and a leather jacket worn loose off one shoulder, so the architecture can do the talking: iron staircases, a vaulted arcade over cobblestones, weathered walls under barred windows and the clean edge of stone columns.

Lizica Iancu leans, crouches and turns her face to the light, while hard sunlight cuts diagonal shadows across the stone and the deep blacks of the monochrome frame her calm, open expression.
