About Dark Waves
Dark Waves is a set of soft studio portraits against a plain lilac-grey wall. Lise Rosario has very long, glossy dark brown hair in loose waves with full bangs, and wears a strapless black dress with a white waistband and a fine pendant necklace. The make-up is soft and rosy, with flushed cheeks, a winged eye and glossy pink lips.
The poses are playful and sweet: a finger to the chin, a calm straight-on gaze, a hand curved into half a heart beside her cheek, a smile with her head tilted. The light is even and gentle, so the shine and movement of the hair, the dark waves of the title, become the focus of every frame.
