About Elizaveta Ruzmaykina

Elizaveta Ruzmaykina is set in a field of old aircraft under a clear summer sky. The model sits on the steps of a plane in a turquoise crochet dress, matching tights and a silk headscarf, stands in orange in front of a rust-red biplane, and wears a red military-style jacket with gold braid over a pink tulle skirt and jeans among retired white airliners. A sheer pink veil blows across her face with a propeller behind her.


Svetlana Gordeeva then leaves the airfield for a roadside fruit stall stacked with watermelons and peaches, where the model sits in a white lace blouse and sunglasses, and for a pond of lotus leaves and pink flowers, where she wades into the water and is joined by a second woman in white. Warm light, lens flare and soft colour give the series an easy, sunlit feel.
