Why did you choose to pursue a career as a photographer?

I chose to work as a photographer because, since I was very young, when I had my first camera (digital, not reflex) I realized that I had a great facility for taking pictures. I am excited to be able to save special moments so they last in time, to make people feel beautiful, and to be able to transmit emotions. In the beginning, I felt a little shy to dedicate myself to this, because of all the prejudices that exist in the city where I live and the environment that surrounded me; but now I can leave those fears behind to put all of me in the photos. It makes me very happy to be able to enjoy my work.

How would you describe yourself to people that don't know you?

I would describe myself as very bold and committed to what I am passionate about. I always try to be faithful to my principles. I have a very outgoing personality, I like to generate confidence in people both in the workplace and personally.

What are the key ingredients for a striking image?

In my opinion, what is necessary to achieve an impressive image is to have a trained eye. By this, I mean that with time we acquire the necessary experience that makes us notice all the relevant details in a photograph. Also very important is the work team that accompanies you in each production, such as the makeup artist, stylist, and others.

How long does it take to create one of these wonderful works?

Each photograph is special, but between the shooting and the post-production, I could say that I take the necessary time to get as close as possible to what I am looking for. I can spend from 1 hour per photo to whole days. I think it's important to take the time to analyze the photograph until I find that spark that inspires you.

Has your vision and style evolved or changed over time?

Of course, with time I gained a lot of experience, and with that comes evolution. It's important not to get left behind in this ever-changing world.

Could you share how you expand your vision of art, as a creative director?

I spend most of my day looking at magazines, videos, and everything related to the subject. I always try to be inspired by great artists that I admire from my country and abroad, especially. I also listen to the advice of my friends with whom I share the field of both photography and fashion. I am in constant search of innovation to always try to achieve something new.

What do you think is the hardest thing in your life you've ever had to overcome?

So far, I have not suffered any major losses, apart from personal affection, those moments that we all go through. But I think the hardest thing was to leave behind the prejudices I had for doing something I am passionate about, such as being a photographer.

What has been the highlight of your career so far and what are your hopes/dreams for the future?

I think my greatest achievements so far have been to be published in magazines in my country at the national and international levels. But I also see meeting new people and being in contact with brands constantly, as an achievement. My dreams for the future are to finish my academic studies, to be able to travel around the world working on what I like, to meet and photograph great figures, to fulfill myself professionally, and to live a full life.
