About Les heures salines

Les heures salines plays with the working world of the harbour: fishing nets strung with orange floats, a blue fishing boat with an outboard motor, wooden jetties, fishing rods and landing nets. Romane wears a black lace bodysuit under an oversized blue blazer, tall green rubber boots up to the knee and gold earrings, her blonde hair gathered up.

Emeline moves from the shade of the net shed to the open water, where Romane wades in her boots holding a fishing trap, then to the pier in a striped white shirt dress and a cream cap, swinging a net. The soft, hazy sky and the sea behind her give the whole story the slow rhythm of a summer by the coast.
