About Noir Allure

Noir Allure is shot in black and white among weathered clapboard buildings, an empty parking lot and a barn door painted with a large white cross. Jennifer Gold wears a belted black trench-style coat dress with a square buckle, sheer patterned stockings and black thigh-high boots, her long platinum hair falling to her waist.


Evan T Gurman uses the old wood and peeling paint as a graphic backdrop. She strides across the lot, leans into a doorway, stands with one arm braced on the barn door, bends forward with her hair swinging and rests against a railing under a heavy sky. Sharp contrast and a steady, confident gaze give the series its noir edge.
