About Our way

Our way is shot in strong autumn sunshine around old city streets and a Gothic cathedral. Holly Taylor-Tolhurst wears a strapless white satin gown with a high slit, a fine pendant necklace and her dark hair swept up, beside a groom in a black tuxedo and bow tie. They stand on stone steps, sit at the foot of a statue with a white bouquet, and wait in a red sandstone archway before a carved wooden door.


Forest Lewis plays with hard light and long shadows: the bride on an iron-railed staircase against a sunlit brick wall, a close portrait turned away from the groom, a glance up at him under orange leaves, and an embrace on the empty square before the cathedral's great facade. Modern, confident and sunlit, it is a wedding story told on its own terms.
