Roman Romance
Roman Romance is a wedding editorial photographed by Natalie Bero, with retouching by Liya Embrace and lighting design by Roman Kiton, published in the printed edition MALVIE Art-Inspired Wedding 38. In the photographer's words: "Adriana and Maciej dreamed of wedding portraits they would treasure for years to come. From the Trevi Fountain to the Colosseum, we created an editorial inspired series with carefully crafted lighting. My favorite moment came during the shoot, when Adriana saw the first photographs and cried with joy."
From the printed edition: MALVIE Art-Inspired Wedding 38

About Roman Romance
Roman Romance opens at night at the Trevi Fountain. The bride wears a strapless ivory satin gown with a long lace-edged veil, the groom a white dinner jacket, black trousers and a bow tie. Lit against the floodlit statues and the blue water, they embrace, kiss and stand beneath an ornate street lamp as the sky turns violet at dusk.
By day the couple moves through the city: seated on a ledge before the arches of the Colosseum, on the steps of the columned Pantheon portico, on a wide stone staircase below a clock tower, and in a quiet street where the wind lifts the veil across the frame. Soft, carefully balanced light keeps the satin and the old stone warm, a classic love story set in Rome.
