About Soft Power

Soft Power follows one blush pink dress through a green garden in the late sun. The fitted mini dress has sheer, cape-like panels that fall from the shoulders, worn with tan knee-high boots, large hoop earrings and bold black glasses. Tarie Smalls walks across the lawn with the sheer fabric trailing, leans on a rustic wooden fence bound with rope and stands with a hand on her hip against dark leaves.


The Portrait King then places her beside a carved stone lantern, resting her hand on its pale stone, and finally by the water, where she lifts the sheer panel in the breeze on a waterfront walkway. Golden backlight, soft bokeh and the single blush tone keep the series gentle and calm.
