About Softness in the Concrete

Softness in the Concrete sets soft, generous shapes against hard city surfaces. Vianne wears an oversized crisp white shirt with taupe wide-leg trousers, long brown leather gloves, a patterned silk headscarf and small black oval sunglasses, posing in front of a graffiti-covered shop shutter, against modern apartment blocks and on the railings of a quiet square.


In the second look Izan Jover Llop dresses her in a dove-grey oversized jacket with an embellished front, a small grey crossbody bag and a long, fluid white skirt. She leans on granite pillars, steel girders and an ornate iron gate, kicks one heel back on the pavement and lets the late sun light her face. Pale tones and relaxed tailoring give the city a gentle edge.
