THE SPACE WE SHARE is a fashion editorial photographed by Tsubasa Thokaew for MALVIE Magazine, with models Manami and Ryotaro, styling by Rikuto Yamamoto and makeup by Kukino Amu and Karin.


Before we know someone, we know the space they occupy. The way they stand by a window. The distance they keep from another body. The way light falls across their clothes and skin. A room becomes a quiet record of presence. THE SPACE WE SHARE explores the relationship between the body, clothing, and the spaces around them— capturing not a particular story, but the feeling of having been there.


About THE SPACE WE SHARE

The story unfolds in a bare white room with tall windows, an office chair and grey concrete, then moves out to a rooftop. Manami and Ryotaro stand apart or side by side, in leather jackets, wide trousers, long dark coats and a belted coat, their curly dark hair catching the soft window light.


Tsubasa Thokaew keeps the palette quiet, in blue-grey, black and burgundy, with frames that blur through glass and leaves and close portraits where the two models share the same wall. The wardrobe, styled by Rikuto Yamamoto, mixes Giorgio Armani, MM6 Maison Margiela, Bottega Veneta, DUCKIE BROWN and ATELIER GUSTAVOLINS.
