Tell us your story, how did you get started modeling and where is your home at the moment?

I actually started as a child actress. One day on the set of “Beautiful People”, a casting director from William Morris (now IMG) scouted me for modeling. I currently reside in Newport Beach, but have homes throughout the United States.

Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?

I enjoy waking up in the morning, making breakfast and running my businesses. Currently, I’m the CEO of Polaris Capital, a cryptocurrency mining company, as well as an investor in the cannabis industry. I also enjoy competitive tennis at the country club and working out.

What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy?

Definitely the networking opportunities and friendships that it brings. Without modeling, I wouldn’t have a reason to travel as much, or have met all the wonderful people in my life. I least enjoy castings because it takes so much of your time. Oftentimes you don’t land gigs and your entire day is wasted.

What is the most challenging thing about being a model?

For me, it's always been maintaining my weight. I’m naturally more curvy than most models. I have boobs, hips and I’m not stick thin. If I even gain 5 pounds it will show and that’s just part of the industry standard. Thank God for the Kate Upton’s and Ashley Graham’s out there!

If you could change something in the modeling world, what would it be?

I wish any adults with malicious intent, or those who take advantage of our youth would stop the vicious cycle. I’ve seen people make money by selling false hope, do demeaning/degrading acts just for kicks because they can. Modeling is a career just like any other profession and no one should be subjected to that type of work environment. Maybe these individuals experienced some form of abuse themselves in the past, but that doesn’t justify doing it to others.

What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?

There isn’t one particular thing, but I’m certainly inspired by beauty and kindness.

What keeps you excited about life in general?

My family, friends and of course future family.

Looking back, how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life?

It's taught me a lot about people and how we operate. Everyone puts on their mask and suddenly becomes the voice of reason. We push our politics, steal quotes from others and post on social media as though it were our own. The truth is we’re all fucked up in one way or another and simply trying to make it in this world.

What kind of life would you like to have?

I’m extremely blessed to have what I have considering where I started from.

What are the achievements you are proud of most of today?

When I made the cover of Forbes India. I was up against an incredible field of entrepreneurs, many of whom were billionaires. I honestly didn’t think I had a chance for one, I’m not Indian obviously. Thankfully, the editors saw the work that my company has brought to the region and I got selected for the cover.
