About Wana art

Wana art is shot entirely in black and white against a plain studio backdrop. Wana Kone wears a white tank top and loose light trousers and sits astride a simple wooden chair, arms folded across its back, head tilted up toward the light.


The series stays quiet and sculptural: the light shifts from a soft glow behind him to a darker grey, and in the last frame he kneels on one knee, his hand at his chin, looking straight at the camera.
