BEST OF SELECTION is a fine art editorial photographed by Leo Sandoli for MALVIE Magazine, with models Alice Cheng and Malavika Kanampara and fashion by Kim Minseo.


This selection features models from different etnicities. Some of the fotos were inspired by photographer Shitanda, especially the use of vibrant colors and strong contrasts.


About BEST OF SELECTION

BEST OF SELECTION gathers strong, graphic frames: a figure in black against a glowing pink-white backdrop, a white dress streaked with red, red ropes falling through darkness, a face lit green before a burning orange sun, and a final portrait dissolving into motion against a brick wall.


Leo Sandoli works with vibrant colour and hard contrast, pairing theatrical props with quiet faces. Kim Minseo's pieces, from the textured white dress to the dark tailored layers, give the series its sculptural lines.
