About Echoes of Ophelia

In Echoes of Ophelia, a woman in a white dress moves through a flooded garden of willows, reeds and floating roses. Ornate gilded mirrors rest on the dark water, pearls lie at her throat, and a small bird lands on her raised hand under a painted sky.


Edgar Guerrero photographs her standing, kneeling and lying in the water, often from above, in deep greens and golds. Makeup is by Valeria Arreguin, and the custom dress is by Maria Jose Orduña Ladinos.
