About Ivory

Ivory & Sage is shot from above, in the clear, shallow water of a stony stream. Edden floats and reclines in sheer ivory layers, wrapped in garlands of white flowers and green leaves, with pale blue lace at her wrists, red lips and small silver details painted on her face.


Perkins McKenzie lets the water do the work: ripples and reflections, the gold and olive of the riverbed, wet hair spreading around her head. She lies with her arms above her head, rises with her hair streaming, curls up among the blossoms, a quiet, painterly series between stillness and movement.
