Jaime, after leaving your Law studies, you entered a world driven by image, expression, and identity. What moment made you decide to take that leap into modeling?

I decided to take the leap into modeling when I realized that my Law studies didn’t represent the path I wanted for myself. I went through a difficult time, but that moment made me stop and see that my true dream had always been to express myself through my image and reach my full potential. That was the turning point.

You mentioned facing insecurity and doubt. What was the hardest obstacle to overcome within yourself when stepping in front of the camera for the first time?

My biggest obstacle was insecurity. I was afraid of not being enough and of exposing myself. During my first time in front of the camera, I had to face my own doubts, but doing so helped me discover a sense of freedom I had never felt before.

Felix from Stray Kids played an important role in your transformation. How did his influence help you embrace your individuality and trust your potential?

Felix from Stray Kids played a key role in my transformation. The way he breaks conventions, expresses himself freely, and embraces what makes him unique taught me that I also had the right to be myself. His influence helped me trust my individuality and my potential.

During the photoshoot, was there a specific moment when you felt something shift — where confidence overtook fear?

Yes, there was a clear moment during the shoot when everything shifted. When I started feeling completely at ease with Laura—thanks to her guidance, her energy, and her professionalism—confidence finally overtook fear. I felt something inside me change.

You speak about being perfectly imperfect. How does modeling help you express that message and break down pressure or beauty standards within the industry?

For me, being “perfectly imperfect” means accepting my insecurities and quirks as part of who I am. Modeling helps me share that message: that you don’t need to fit rigid beauty standards to be worthy. What makes us different is exactly what makes us special.

What part of the creative process excites you the most — posing, styling, storytelling, or the emotional release that comes with being seen?

What excites me most about the creative process is the emotional release. I can be myself, without filters. The mix of posing, expressing, and building a visual story makes me feel alive and connected to who I am.

Now that you’ve experienced a professional shoot, what type of projects or artistic directions would you love to explore next?

After this first professional experience, I’d love to explore more conceptual editorial projects—work that allows me to develop characters and express strong emotions. I want to keep growing and discover how far I can go.

If you could speak directly to others who struggle with self-doubt, what message would you want them to take from your journey?

To anyone struggling with self-doubt, I would say: don’t give up. We all feel fear, but we all carry incredible potential. Embrace what makes you different, look at yourself with kindness, and remember that you are not alone. Strength begins the moment you stop hiding.
