About The White Lady
The White Lady is dressed in one romantic gown by De Bourbon Collezioni: a strapless white lace corset dress with a sheer, floral-embroidered bodice, worn with detached lace sleeves that cover the arms from wrist to above the elbow. A pearl headband holds back her long honey-blonde waves, and red nails add the only touch of colour to the white.
Massimo Casilli photographs her outdoors among old red-brick walls, a gravel courtyard, an iron railing and green trees, all softened by a shallow depth of field. The light is soft and even, and the poses are calm: an arm raised behind the head, a look over a bare shoulder, a hand at the cheek, the full skirt spread out as she sits. The close frames keep the attention on the face, the lace and the pearls.
