Fashion on the Go! is a fashion editorial photographed, creative-directed and retouched by Dale Mann with model Sarah, who also styled the wardrobe and did her own makeup, published in the printed edition MALVIE Effortless Chic 162.

Fashion on the Go! is one of the editorials in MALVIE Effortless Chic 162, the new printed edition of MALVIE Magazine, alongside Soft Dynasty, Then and Now, Lavender Horizon and Angela.

About Fashion on the Go

Fashion on the Go! plays black against red in a bright white studio. A fitted black dress with a plunging neckline and an open back meets long black leather gloves, a wide-brim black hat and pointed red pumps, while a second look swaps the hat for a red cap and adds a black leather jacket and patterned sheer tights. Red lipstick ties the two together.


The props are simple and useful: an old wooden stepladder to lean on and climb, a folding chair and a wire chair to sit astride. Dale Mann lets the poses grow bolder as the series goes on, from a hand on the hip to the brim pulled low over one eye. The last frame, against a soft grey wall, closes on the hat tipped over the face and an off-the-shoulder neckline.
