Rouge: The Editorial is a fashion editorial with model Maria Uzcategui (Modern Muse Models, Select Model Management), created with UMG Model Academy Orlando and published in the printed edition MALVIE Celebrating Diversity 132. In the team's words: "A celebration of confidence, individuality, and timeless elegance."

Rouge: The Editorial is one of the editorials in MALVIE Celebrating Diversity 132, the new printed edition of MALVIE Magazine, alongside Crystal Pearls, Not Made to Fit In, Made to Stand Out, The Unspoken Dress Code and Painted Lady.

About Rouge: The Editorial

The series is staged in front of a heavy crimson curtain, with everyone dressed in shades of red. A group of young models poses close together in satin slip dresses, corset dresses, cut-out dresses, tailored red jackets and short dresses with black tights, finished with long black gloves, statement necklaces and gold cuffs. Dark lips, defined eyes and low, warm light give it the mood of a red-carpet evening.


The frames move between small groups and the whole cast. Three faces fill one picture, five models lean into one another in the next, two sit on the floor in satin while the others stand behind, and the largest images gather the group in two rows. Every frame stays in the same deep red palette, so the individual faces and poses become the story.
